RGMS @ DKFI – Girls

The coaches, M. Kometa and Ms. Dudley, were nowhere to be found before the game, only to come waltzing in right at the start of warmups. The girls had to psych themselves up, but boy oh howdy, they did.

Our rivals, Robert Goddard, once again met us on the field this windy day! Their goalie and players were impressive, but nothing to match to Dora Kennedy’s skills. (#30) Kyndall and (#36) Saida both scored 1 goal each though there were many (many) attempts by both of them. (#26) Rainier scored an impressive goal on a penalty kick, and (#35) Madinah scored 2. Despite getting hurt, Rainier and goalie Dumebi bounced right back into action after a quick breather on the sidelines.

The overall score was 5-o.

Thanks to the girl’s soccer team, the manager is once again allowed at games. Thanks guys, it means a lot to me!!
